ABOUT THE POSITION

DSV's transport network spans across Sweden and Europe, meaning you will have colleagues and partners both locally and internationally. As a traffic coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for planning and coordinating the district's outgoing transports, acting as the spider in the web for daily operations, with the responsibility to coordinate and optimize transport flows. You will ensure that deliveries are made efficiently and on time, while always being prepared to handle unforeseen events.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, carriers, and customers in a fast-paced environment where you play a prominent role in the cooperation. Your operational work will be characterized by high tempo and quality, where you are responsible for ensuring that transports reach their final destination at the agreed time. As a traffic coordinator, you will face new challenges every day, where your problem-solving skills and quick judgment will be crucial. There will be an expectation of a positive attitude in the varied daily routine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

This role involves being responsible for the operational planning and monitoring of transports. You will work to ensure efficiency and solve problems that arise to maintain a high level of service. You will, among other things:

• Plan and optimize routes
• Monitor traffic flows and manage deviations in real-time
• Receive inquiries from customers and then plan and contact carriers and partners in the network
• Maintain good control over the market and costs
• Work qualitatively in a high tempo where you take responsibility for ensuring that transports reach their final destination at the agreed time
• Work administratively and continuously in our client's supporting system

• Has experience in similar tasks
• Is interested in logistics and traffic solutions
• Has a good ability to handle stressful situations with a solution-focused approach
• Is ambitious and used to working in a high tempo where quick decisions are necessary
• Is driven by a varied and changing daily routine that requires great flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and step up where needed
• Is a team player but also self-driven and capable of making independent decisions to drive your work forward
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have:

• A post-secondary education in transport and logistics

Start: Immediately

Working hours: 7-4 or 8-5

Scope: Full-time

Duration of the assignment: At least until the end of the year with a high chance of extension.
